CEDD AGL technology in apron area on Geneva Airport
Geneva Airport was one of the first airports with a CEDD AGL system. The technology was installed in May 2018 on a new apron in the North-East area of the airfield.
For Geneva Airport, the main target to choose for CEDD technology was to reduce the risk of impedance loss due to faulty connectors on conventional series circuits on an existing infrastructure, with no water drainage and with water in conduits and bases.
“Water present everywhere was causing the previous conventional circuit installation to fail. CEDD solved this problem. Furthermore, since its installation there has been no maintenance required to any part of the system.” said Philippe Moraga, Chief Technical Officer (reference letter available on request).
