New private aircraft hangar in Al Ula Airport
On the 1st of November 2022, the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) inaugurated a new hangar for private aircraft at AlUla International Airport in Saudi Arabia. The hangar has a capacity to accommodate private planes of different sizes.
The airport has made the choice for CEDD airfield lighting for the taxiways leading from and to the hangar. The lead time of the AGL project, from getting the contract to commissioning of the installation, was less than 1 month.
This is the first CEDD installation operational in the Middle East.
