Electronic Development Hard- and Software

Ever since I disassembled my first PlayStation, I knew that I wanted to understand what I was seeing. Thus, my path was determined via an apprenticeship as an electrician to a Master of Engineering degree in Intelligent Energy Systems. I was unaware of the Airfield Ground Lighting profession and applied because of the interesting job description. After joining TKH, I was able to begin my career path after graduation.

My expertise at TKH is in the field of hardware and software development. The tasks range from basic research to sample testing and final release, with all associated tests and documentation. All intermediate steps are accompanied by me and any “unwanted features” that occur will be corrected. The good contacts with service, sales and production help me to develop an efficient and easy-to-handle system, so that all requirements and optimization suggestions can be fulfilled. The offer of further education or training courses gives me the opportunity to deepen my knowledge.

The broad scope of development activities in a “small” team is a unique element for me at TKH Airport Solutions. Close technical contact between hardware, software, lighting development, mechanical design or quality is necessary during the whole process. Many details and steps of development are not managed in isolation in different departments, but are started, processed and completed in a single team of experts. For this reason, I have the opportunity to build up experience in all areas and I have extended my knowledge in several areas.
